I got this book as part of a book exchange. I'd never heard of Gemma Townley before.

I guess she writes sub-par chick lit.

Natalie Raglan moved to London seeking adventure and glamor, but all she got was a job at a boutique and junk mail from the former resident of her flat, Cressida.

Cressida's mail suggests that her life was far more exciting than Natalie's is, so Nat begins posing as Cressida. She meets a dreamy investment banker named Simon and is the toast of the town. But will she be able to hold her charade together?

This book was fairly predictable and unremarkable. The best part about it was the store that Natalie works at, where they sell designer clothes -- Missoni, Alberta Ferretti, Vivienne Westwood -- oh, to work in such a store!!

But it makes for some good, easy beach reading, if you're in need of it.
